The 15 PSIG Safety Valve with a 1" outlet serves as a critical pressure‑relief control, designed to open automatically and discharge excess pressure if the generator ever reaches 15 PSI—an extremely rare occurrence—and is typically piped to a floor drain in the installation area; to ensure safe, reliable operation, this valve should be inspected routinely along with all other system components as part of your regular maintenance schedule.
