The driver is responsible for “curbside delivery only", will lower the item to ground level, and provide limited assistance at the site. Prior to shipping this product, we often contact customers to share shipment details and discuss any extenuating delivery circumstances that may complicate or cause additional delivery expenses.
Required Delivery Conditions
To ensure a successful delivery, someone must be present and the following conditions must be met:
- Scheduling: The carrier will call ahead to schedule the exact delivery time.
- Signature & Inspection: A signature is required at the time of delivery, and someone must be present to inspect and sign for the shipment.
- Accessibility: The delivery address must be accessible by at least a class 6 (single unit 3-axle) delivery truck.
Curbside Delivery Explained
- Curbside Only: The carrier is not permitted to move the item onto your property, inside a garage, or into your home.
- Customer Responsibility: Please arrange for your own assistance to move the item from the curb.
